Walter “Insty” Landaverde is a Bronx-raised, New York/New Jersey-based open-format DJ with a deep appreciation for music and an instinct for reading the room. Influenced by two older brothers who introduced him to everything from classic rock and funk to hip-hop and soul, Insty developed an eclectic musical foundation that continues to shape his sound today.

From New York City's nightlife scene to weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, Insty brings a music-first approach to every performance. His sets move naturally across genres and generations, blending hip-hop, R&B, dance, Latin, pop, funk, disco, and timeless classics to create an experience tailored to the people in front of him.

Rather than relying on a predetermined playlist, Insty builds each set in real time, responding to the room, finding unexpected connections between songs, and knowing when to shift the energy.

Whether setting the mood in an intimate lounge or bringing a packed dance floor to life, his approach remains the same: let the music lead, connect with the crowd, and make every moment count.

His experience also extends beyond nightlife, with performances at weddings, corporate functions, brand activations, and private celebrations throughout New York and New Jersey.
